twitter@123 Rebecca Katherine Parkins has written and published poems, and has continued throughout her life to write stories and illustrated them from the time she was a small child. She comes from a long line of actors, poets, and artists who ultimately expressed their creativity in the field of education. Rebecca received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology from the University of Colorado Medical School, and proceeded to earn her Master of Arts Degree in Education from the University of Northern Colorado. After teaching for several years she received her Principal's License from the University of Colorado. She has taught reading and has been a reading interventionist for many years in the Colorado public education system. She loves to pass on her love for reading and writing to her students and children of all ages and backgrounds.
